Dr. Ashish Bhanudas Wadekar (M.Pharm, Ph.D.) is an accomplished academician and researcher, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics at Dr. Rajendra Gode Institute of Pharmacy, Amravati. Recently he successfully completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from RK University, Ahmadabad Gujarat (2025), a significant milestone that reflects his commitment to advancing pharmaceutical research and education. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research & Pharmacovigilance from Manipal University (2011, Distinction). With more than 12 years of blended academic and industrial experience, his research is centered on drug delivery systems, formulation development, transdermal and extended-release formulations, and phytopharmacology. In 2021 he was awarded a grant under the SSIP scheme by RK University for prototype development and patent filing, and in 2024 he secured a UK registered design patent
